Meet the team
We take pride in creating a place where people want to come to work. No egos. No drama. Just a team of pros doing what they do best. We call them “unicorns” because not only are they experts in their respective fields, but each person brings their own unique set of skills to every task and every project. Every time.
Lauren PerforsCo-founder & Owner
Lauren Perfors believes work should be both impactful and fun—and she built Jollity on that very principle. After years building up to a VP at a top SEO agency, she knew she wanted to do things differently. She envisioned a company that prioritized collaboration, flexibility, and a genuine partnership with clients. So, in 2011, she meticulously planned and launched Jollity, a fully remote agency long before it became the norm.
Lauren leads Jollity with a focus on expertise and excellence. Rather than chasing every new trend, she ensures the team stays at the forefront of what they do best: WordPress website design, development, hosting, and ongoing support. For Lauren, delivering top-tier service isn’t about upselling—it’s about creating long-term client relationships built on trust, innovation, and results.
When she’s not leading her team, Lauren is fully present with her family—whether it’s hiking 14ers with her husband, skiing, or simply playing outside with her two daughters.
“My kids are only going to be young once but my job is going to be here the rest of my working life,” she says. “When my kids get out of school, I am spending time with them.”
Originally from Maryland, Lauren found her heart in the mountains and now calls Fort Collins, Colorado home. Surrounded by outdoor adventure, bike paths, and an active community, she thrives in an environment that mirrors the spirit of Jollity—where passion, purpose, and play come together.
Jenn HessCo-founder & COO
Since getting her start in 2007, Jenn has built a dynamic career at the intersection of creativity and strategy. She learned the ropes of the agency world as an account manager and quickly moved up the ranks with her dedication and strong work ethic. From there, she transitioned to a client-side role, reporting to senior leadership and regularly exceeding expectations. By 2013, Jenn was ready to make the jump to entrepreneurship, and she established Sofo Studios, a sister company to Jollity.
After a decade of success, Sofo Studios merged with Jollity in 2023, where Jenn now serves as Co-founder & COO, driving the company’s operations and creative direction. Her unique background both agency- and client-side means she understands what works and what doesn’t. By curating and refining the day-to-day processes, Jollity becomes more efficient, ultimately passing that efficiency along to the client.
But Jenn doesn’t just move the pieces in the background. Known for expertise in graphic design, marketing, and creative problem-solving, Jenn brings a unique blend of technical skill and strategic vision to every project. You’ll regularly see her leading the charge with creative direction on design projects, brainstorming with the design team, or providing project management support when needed. As a visual learner and designer at heart, Jenn thrives on translating complex ideas into clear, compelling visuals. Whether troubleshooting tech challenges or crafting brand strategies, her hands-on approach and attention to detail are key to delivering exceptional results.
What truly sets Jenn apart is a deep appreciation for collaboration. “I love working with our team,” Jenn says. “It’s such a pleasure to come to work and enjoy the people you work with. They are smart, dedicated, and always willing to help — not just clients, but each other.” This passion for teamwork fosters a culture of support and excellence, making Jollity a standout in the industry.
Outside of work, Jenn is an adventurer at heart, traveling with her husband, Ryan — an officer in the U.S. Air Force — and their two children, Henry (4) and Josephine (1). Whether exploring new destinations or enjoying downtime with family, she finds inspiration and balance wherever life (er, the military) takes them. And those strong organizational skills serve her well both personally and professionally, as you’ll find that Jenn’s travel itineraries and military-move SOPs are well documented and color-coded. (You think we’re kidding? We’re not kidding.)
Hannah NovakSenior Project Manager, Retainers & Projects
Hannah is a natural leader with a talent for guiding projects to success. With her personable and charismatic approach, she excels at building strong client relationships. After earning her Bachelor of Science from Kent State University, Hannah began her professional journey at Jollity in 2022 as an Administrative Specialist. She quickly proved her versatility and talent, moving into project management where she continues to make a meaningful impact on her team and clients.
A sharp eye for timelines and scope allows Hannah to blend structure with adaptability in her work. She views project management as a balance of black, white, and grey: staying organized and linear is essential, but she thrives in the “grey area” where unexpected challenges call for creative pivots and solutions.
Hannah’s leadership style is rooted in positivity and fun. She believes that enjoying the process shines through in the final product, and she knows she’s succeeded when clients are thrilled with the results.
Outside of work, Hannah and her husband, Anthony, are self proclaimed foodies. The duo also spends their “5-to-9” hours renovating houses and transforming them into long-term rental properties. Hannah’s eye for design and Anthony’s hands-on approach make them a dynamic team. When the East Coast weather allows, Hannah also enjoys playing tennis and skiing.
