Crafting A Fresh Web Experience For This Longtime Faith-Based Community Resource

After years of partnership, Jollity helped the Colorado Council of Churches (CCC) take a major step forward with a much-needed website rebuild. Their old site had become outdated, unmanageable, and no longer aligned with their mission. Our redesign modernized their platform, simplified the user experience, and gave them the tools to confidently maintain content moving forward.

The image showcases a website displayed on a laptop and a smartphone. On the laptop screen, a section of an events page is visible, listing an upcoming event titled "Easter Sunrise Service at Red Rocks Amphitheatre." The phone shows a contact form from the same website, with fields for sending a message, including name, email, and church affiliation. The color scheme is a mix of blues and whites, matching the branding of the Colorado Council of Churches.

Overview

The Colorado Council of Churches advocates for affordable housing, healthcare access, environmental stewardship, and inclusivity across the state. Their website, however, hadn’t kept up with their evolving mission. We worked closely with the CCC team to rebuild their website from the ground up—consolidating content, improving navigation, enhancing brand consistency, and creating space to highlight the events and initiatives that matter most to their community.

Auditing and Organizing an Outdated Site

The original CCC website was more than a decade old and no longer supported by modern hosting environments. Content was scattered, outdated, and difficult to manage, making it hard for users to find information or engage with the organization. We audited the entire site, eliminating orphaned pages and consolidating all essential information into a clean, intuitive five-page structure that aligns with the organization’s core purpose. All of this was achieved while also leaving room for future expansion, so the new website is able to grow right alongside the organization.

Creating a Home for Community Events

One major improvement was the introduction of a dedicated Events page—something the old site lacked entirely. This new feature allows CCC to easily promote key events, including their iconic Easter Sunrise Service at Red Rocks Amphitheater. With a clear structure and flexible functionality, the organization can now highlight events that unite their community and showcase their ongoing work.

Modern Design with Meaningful Accessibility

CCC’s leadership brings a distinctive personality to their mission, and the new design reflects that individuality. We helped define their brand guidelines, incorporating ADA-compliant colors and a bold, blue-forward palette that feels both approachable and modern. The result is a look and feel that is as thoughtful and unique as the organization itself—fully responsive, visually striking, and built with accessibility & inclusivity in mind.

Outcomes

The Colorado Council of Churches now has a site that works as hard as they do. With a simplified structure, custom event capabilities, and a design that reflects their values, the CCC team is empowered to manage their own content with confidence. More than a facelift, this rebuild created a sustainable foundation for their ongoing advocacy and outreach.
