Expanding an Interior Design Firm’s Website for a Growing Full-Service Brand

As Duet grew from separate ‘design’ and ‘build’ entities into one full-service brand, its website needed to reflect that evolution. Jollity helped adapt the existing site to support a broader range of services while preserving the platform that was already serving the business well.

Overview

Jollity’s relationship with Duet began in 2023, with an initial website rebuild. This established the flexible platform that was still going strong when its brand and service offerings began to expand.

With Duet Design Group and Duet Build coming together as Duet, the website now needed to represent interior design, construction, architecture, and lifestyle under one brand. That meant revisiting the sitemap and navigation, consolidating content from multiple websites, and making room for a significantly broader service offering without making the experience feel overloaded.

Working alongside Duet’s internal design team, principals, and SEO partner, the Jollity team handled the strategy, development, migration, and technical execution required to bring that evolution to life.

ONE BRAND, ONE WEBSITE

With four distinct service areas now living under one brand, the challenge was figuring out how to present everything clearly while avoiding information overload.

We reworked the sitemap and menu structure to give Interior Design, Architecture, Construction, and Lifestyle intuitive pathways of their own while still presenting them as part of one connected experience. That also meant finding new ‘homes’ for migrated content, expanding existing page sections, and introducing new landing pages without overcomplicating the navigation.

Behind the scenes, we mapped redirects to their new paths on the primary site, helping create a smooth transition for both users and search engines.

Now, Duet’s broader offering fits naturally within the unified website, giving each service enough space to stand on its own in a way that feels natural and intentional.

A NEW LOOK ON A STRONG FOUNDATION

Because the underlying platform was still serving Duet well, the rebrand became an opportunity to refresh what users saw without rebuilding what was already working underneath.

Duet’s internal design team established the updated visual direction, with Jollity translating it into development. By incorporating the new logo, refined color palette, expanded content, and updated page layouts across the site, the look-and-feel received an upgrade that paralleled the elevated service offerings.

But that refresh and refinement wasn’t limited to the front-end. While we were in there, we also took the opportunity to tidy up the technical side. Websites evolve, components change, and code has a way of accumulating over time, so part of our process included cleaning up what no longer served the site and refining the pieces that did.

Together, those updates gave the site a more polished, elevated experience that better reflects the Duet brand today.

WORKING ACROSS TEAMS

This project brought together Duet’s internal team, SEO partner, and Jollity’s development team, with each group contributing a different area of expertise.

We’re always happy to plug into an established team rather than trying to replace one, and this project was a great example of that. There were plenty of moving pieces across design, content, SEO, redirects, form integrations, and development. Keeping them aligned meant staying in close communication with everyone involved from start to finish.

Honestly, that’s kind of our favorite part. We’re always up for geeking out with other designers and tech-minded teams, which inevitably results in better work and happier clients.

The refreshed web experience now ‘feels’ like the unified Duet of today, better reflecting the quality and precision their clients have come to expect. Behind the scenes, the structural improvements give the Duet team a robust lead-capture process and plenty of flexibility for whatever comes next.

Having worked with Duet for years, it’s been especially rewarding to watch the brand evolve and to continue supporting how that evolution shows up on the web. We’re grateful for the trust their team places in ours and proud to see their site still doing exactly what a good website should — growing with the business.

Don't just take our word for it.

has to say.

“Jollity rebuilt the backbone of how we capture leads, and they made a genuinely tricky job feel easy. Clear communication, fast turnarounds, and a team that sweats the details you'd never think to ask about. Our site runs better because of them, and the support since has been just as strong. If you want web partners who actually own the work and follow through, this is the team to call.”
